Fuji Syusuke-A genius that loves a Goth doll

/Kei /
I was cutting myself again. I hoped that Syusuke would not know about it. He was my best friend and he hated me when I cut myself. I sighed when I thought of him. He cared but I always neglected his feelings. I did not wish he would make friends with me.

Then, I heard footsteps coming towards the rooftop. I cleaned up the mess and threw the penknife away. I brought with me some bandages. I dressed my wounds and I stood up and gazed up to the sky. Then, someone tapped on my shoulder. It was Syusuke.

I hugged him tightly. He wrapped my arms around my waist. I smiled and he did too. His infamous smile always melts my heart but I knew that he did not love me that way. I released my arms slowly and hesitantly. Syusuke noticed something was wrong about me.

“Kei, are you alright?” He asked with concern.

“I’m fine, don’t worry.” I answered with a fake smile while looking down.

/Syusuke/
I knew something was wrong about Kei. She seemed sad and depressed. I looked at her wrist and I noticed there was blood stains. She cut herself. Why must she do this to herself? I did not want to see Kei suffered. She released and walked away.

I grabbed her wrist and she flinched. I quickly retracted my hand. She smiled at me with a little pain. I felt sorry for what I did. Kei walked to the door and faced me with one eye to be seen. Kei looked at me confusedly, but I smiled and held her hand.

I loved Kei, but she did not know.

/Kei/
Syusuke held my hand and it felt soft and warm. It was after school. I took my bag and saw Syusuke was standing at the gate. I waved and ran towards him. I saw him smiled. I loved his smile so much. He held my hand and I smiled to him.

We talked, joked and laughed along the way of going home.

“Kei, do you want to eat dinner with me?” Syusuke asked.

“Huh? But…” I trailed off.

“No, silly. You and me, eating out tonight.”

“But, Syusuke… I…”

“I’ll pick you up at 7, alright?”

“Tomorrow is a Saturday, right?” I asked.

“Yeah, that’s why I ask you for tonight.” He smiled.

“Alright, I love to!” I held him.

I knew that I could never love him that way. He had already loved another girl. He had been asking me on how to ask her out. He wrapped his arms around me and laid his head on my shoulder. I smiled and pushed him playfully. He smiled with a little evil and started chasing me around.

I ran and ran around. Then, he embraced me from behind and that stopped me from running. We walked back home, hand in hand. I kissed his cheek and went into my house and prepared for the date.

/Syusuke/
Kei kissed my cheek. I reached up and smiled to myself. I quickly walked back to my house.

“I’m home.” I said.

“Welcome back, Syusuke.” My sister greeted, “Are you going to eat dinner tonight?”

“No, I’m going out.” I answered.

“Oh, with whom?”

“It’s a girl.”

“My, Syusuke, is it the girl that you always talk about?”

“Yeah, I need to get ready. I promised her that I’ll pick her up at 7.”

“Alright, go and get ready. You’re going to be late.” She smiled.

I took a bath and changed into my best clothing. How I wondered what Kei was wearing. I wanted to confess to her tonight. I walked downstairs and said goodbye to my sister. She smiled and the door just opened.

“Big bro, where are you going?” Yuuta asked.

“He’s going on a date with a girl.” My sister answered.

“Well, see you later, Yuuta.” I waved and went to Kei’s house.

/Kei/
I took a quick bath and wore my best dress. A dark purple dress which stopped a little above my knees. I wore long purple gloves and wore a pair of black shoes. I let my hair down and at this moment, someone rang the doorbell. I guessed it must be Syusuke.

I walked to the door and he looked so handsome. I smiled and he smiled too. I closed the door and held hand with him. I was mesmerized with his eyes. He had them open. It was as beautiful as it was as blue as the sky.

“So, Syusuke, where’re we going?” I asked.

“To Kawamura’s sushi bar.” He answered.

“I know you would go there.” I smiled.

“Really, why?”

“You love wasabi-filled sushi.”

“You’re right on that.” He chuckled.

“So, your treat?” I asked.

“Yeah, on me.”

Both of us arrived at the sushi bar and Kawamura greeted us.

“Fuji, Kei, are you two dating?” He asked.

“Well, sort of.” Syusuke joked.

“Syusuke, don’t joke about it.” I nudged him playfully.

“Alright, take a seat and the dishes will arrive soon.” Kawamura laughed.

Both of us took a seat where we had our private space. Then, the dishes arrived soon after. Both of us ate and challenging each other on who eats the most wasabi sushi. I lost to Syusuke as I could not take it anymore. I drank as much water as I could.

“You know that I would lose!” I said while pushing him playfully.

“And we did bet on this.” He smiled with a hint of mischievous.

“Uh-oh…” I trailed off.

“Yeah, the one who wins will have to kiss the lose one.” Syusuke approached me with an evil grin.

My back was against the wall and panting heavily. Then, Syusuke moved inches by inches in. My body was under his and he had his eyes opened. I could feel his hot breathe on my lips and I waited for it. I did not wish to struggle. His soft lips touched mine and I melted in his kiss.

I did not know how to react. He licked my bottom lip and I felt so strange. I opened my mouth unconsciously. His tongue slowly moved in and I played with him as well. I felt so good with it. Syusuke pulled me and I was sitting on his lap. I wrapped my left arm around his neck and right hand on his cheek.

He trailed his fingers up and down my thigh. I did not care and kept French-kissing him. I do love him. It just that I would not admit it.

/Syusuke/
I loved Kei. Just like her name, rapture and reverence. She was well respected by me and she was my ecstasy. I really did not want her to leave. Both of us parted our lips and gazed upon each other’s eyes. I smiled at her and she did too.

“Kei, promise me something.” I started.

“Yes, Syusuke?” She whispered.

“Don’t hurt yourself anymore and be my doll.” I answered.

“But…” I captured her lips with mine again.

I did not want to hear no. I wanted to hear yes. I love you, Kei. I parted again with her in a dazed. I chuckled and she blushed. She looked adorable like this. Kei nodded.

“You’re my Goth doll and I love you.” I cooed.

“Then, you’re my genius and I love you too.” She answered.
